EPC’S 13TH ANNUAL CLASSIC CARFEST OCTOBER 11th 2014

ST. CHARLES, MO, September 18, 2014  —  Street rods, muscle cars and modified Corvettes will be among the dozens of vintage automobiles, trucks, motorcycles and other vehicles on display at the 13th annual EPC Classic Carfest on Saturday, October 11, 2014 on EPC’s 10-acre parking lot at 3941 Truman Blvd, I-70 and Cave Springs in St. Charles.

All proceeds from the free, day-long, family-oriented event will benefit Just Because We Care (www.justbecausewecare.com), a St. Charles-based charity whose mission is to “end the cycle of poverty in our Honduran mountain community by providing food, education, clothing and basic medical care.”

Funds benefit ‘Timmy’s Mountain,’ an organization in the small community of Brisas Del Norte de San Francisco, Honduras named after the son of Diane Wamhoff, a young man who died in a car accident in 1993.  Timmy’s love of helping children in need inspired his mother to help a community in his name.  Diane raises funds in the United States to support a school in Brisas Del Norte de San Francisco that feeds and educates impoverished local children.

Pre-registration for all vehicles is open now at www.classiccarfest.com.  Registration, which is limited to the first 300 vehicles, is just $20 per show vehicle. Registration also can be done on the day of the event from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, depending on availability of openings.

A total of 30 proposed classes of vehicles will be represented, including stock and modified versions of cars, trucks, street rods, pro-streets and T-buckets, motorcycles, muscle cars, daily drivers, Corvettes, Mustangs, Camaros, imports and special interest vehicles.  Photos from previous Classic Carfests are featured at the web site (www.classiccarfest.com).

Each year, the EPC Classic Carfest benefits a different charity based in St. Charles County.  “The Classic Carfest has become one of the most popular, family-friendly events in St. Charles,” said Dan Fuller, founder and president of EPC.  “Thanks to the efforts of our participants, volunteers, sponsors and spectators, more than $130,000 has been raised for St. Charles-based charities in the first 12 years of our event.”

This year’s Classic Carfest sponsors include EPC, Mid-Nite Auto Supply, Ameristar, UPS, PUR Performance and CIA Clark Insurance, among others.  Live music by “The EPC Band” and the “Customers” will be performed during the day on the EPC lot.  Trophies will be awarded at 4 p.m.  Award categories include Best of Show, Best Paint, Best Engine, Best Interior and Best Club Participation.

Now celebrating its 30th anniversary, EPC is the largest professional electronics recycler and IT Asset Management firm in Missouri and one of the largest in the country.  EPC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CSI Leasing, Inc., the largest independent IT leasing company in the United States.  For more information about EPC, call 636-443-1999 or visit www.epcusa.com.  More information about the EPC Classic Carfest is available atwww.classiccarfest.com , or “like” the Classic Carfest on Facebook.
