A line of severe storms moved through St. Charles, Lincoln & Pike counties around 6:00 p.m. Several listeners reported large hail fell in Troy, Moscow Mills, and other near by cities. The storm spun up a large funnel cloud in Old Monroe, Mo off Flat Woods Rd. Authorities said there are downed trees and power lines in the Troy area.
Ameren said around 1700 residents in Warren, St. Charles, and Lincoln Counties were with out power.
The storm was also responsible for a partial building collapse at a local business at Spirit of St. Louis Airport in St. Louis County.
