Rock Band “Hinder” in Tour Bus Accident in TN

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Rock group Hinder’s tour bus was involved in a crash with a semi and SUV on Interstate 40 in Cookeville on Wednesday.

According to investigators, the accident happened after the semi slowed to a near stop when it was reportedly rear-ended by the tour bus, causing it to hit a Chevy Tahoe.

There were 10 people onboard the bus at the time of the accident. The bus driver had to be extricated and was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville where he underwent surgery Wednesday night.

Two other passengers, a band member and crew member, were transported to Cookeville Regional Hospital with broken ribs.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was transported to Summit Medical Center. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

The driver of the SUV was not injured.
