Troy, Mo – An attempted traffic stop ended in a crash after two suspects tried to evade police in a vehicle and then on-foot.
When Troy Police attempted to make a traffic stop in Troy, Mo., Thursday afternoon, the vehicle in question took off. The driver of the vehicle drove into oncoming traffic and weaved their way through oncoming vehicles.
The car was occupied by a male and female suspect, and the car was registered to a subject with multiple felony warrants.
The chase eventually ended with a crash involving three vehicles: the suspect vehicle, a police vehicle, and a nearby driver. The crash ended at the intersection of Highway K and Christina Marie in O’Fallon, Mo.
No one was injured in the accident.
After the crash, the two suspects fled the scene on foot. The chase was short and both suspects were caught.
They were taken into custody by Troy Police Dept.
