Mountain Lion Struck By Vehicle On Interstate 70

WARRENTON, MO – A driver struck and killed a mountain lion in Warren County, Missouri Saturday.
The Missouri Department of Natural Resources said the animal was struck on Interstate 70, near mile marker 195. A wildlife expert said they plan to perform a necropsy Tuesday, in hopes it will give them more information on animal, including whether or not it is part of a local population.
