Reports Of Cloudy Water in St. Charles County

ST. CHARLES, MO – Residents in St. Louis and St. Charles counties may notice their water is ‘cloudier’ than normal. Missouri American Water said the cloudy water is not a health concern. It’s reportedly caused by tiny oxygen bubbles dissolved in the water that create a cloudy appearance. They added this often happens in the winter because cold water holds more oxygen.
The best thing to do is let it sit in an open container until the bubbles naturally disappear.
