Local Police And Others Make 7 Year Old Boy’s Birthday Super Special

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO – After no one in his class came to his birthday party, a local boy was given a big surprise on Sunday.

Cole Hittler, 7, is a first grader at Harris Elementary in St. Charles. He underwent skull surgery as an infant then he was diagnosed at age four with Apraxia, a speech disorder.

After hearing about how nobody showed for his birthday party, a few kind hearts came together to do something special for him.

Sunday afternoon, Cole and his family were picked up in a limousine with a police escort to Dave and Busters where a warm welcome was waiting for them.

“It was neat, all of the smiles, because that’s what he deserves,” his mother said. “He struggles really hard and it’s nice to see some recognition and some happiness on his face.”

Even Cole’s favorite superhero, Batman, stopped by to wish him a happy birthday.
