ST. LOUIS – The rain from Hurricane Helene has forced several events happening Friday around the St. Louis area to be rescheduled.
Billy Joel and Sting concert
The concert, originally planned for Friday evening, has been rescheduled for Sunday, Sept. 29. Previously purchased tickets will be valid for Sunday.
Live Nation released the following statement:
“The safety of the fans, artists, crew, and staff is paramount. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.”
NHRA Midwest Nationals
The NHRA Midwest Nationals at the World Wide Technology Raceway have been canceled Friday due to inclement weather conditions.
According to the NHRA, racing will start at 8 a.m. Saturday, beginning with the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. Friday ticket holders will be able to exchange their tickets for a Saturday or Sunday ticket. For more information, click here.
Bridgeton Family Fall Fest & Fireworks
Friday’s Bridgeton Fall Fest has been canceled. The 5K run on Saturday will still be taking place, and there is room for more participants to sign up.
Bridgeton Parks and Recreation released the following statement that reads, in part:
“We take everyone’s safety seriously, and we cannot allow our vendors, attractions, and patrons to be out in the predicted conditions.”
Zootoberfest
The Saint Louis Zoo announced that the Zootoberfest+ beer tasting event has been canceled for guest and animal safety. Those who purchased tickets will receive a full refund.
