Man killed in head-on collision on Ladue Road

LADUE, Mo. – A St. Louis man lost his life in a head-on collision Tuesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report said the collision happened just before 10:40 a.m. on Ladue Road, just east of Graybridge Road.

A 2016 Toyota 4Runner was traveling westbound on Ladue when a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander traveling in the opposite direction crossed the centerline and into the path of the 4Runner.

The driver of the 4Runner slammed on his brakes, but the Outlander struck the front of the 4Runner anyway.

The 48-year-old driver of the Outlander was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 11:20 a.m.

According to the crash report, the driver of the Outlander was not wearing his seatbelt, while the driver of the 4Runner had his fastened.
