Ex-St. Louis Sheriff asks judge to dismiss federal charges

Former St. Louis Sheriff Alfred Montgomery is now asking a judge to dismiss federal charges against him, arguing he was targeted for political reasons after he refused to step down at the request of former Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey.
